Unlocking policy

Last updated: January 2026.

What a network unlock is

A network unlock removes the restriction that ties a device to a single network operator, so it can accept SIM cards from other operators. It does not change the device's ownership, accounts or security settings.

Ownership requirement

You must own the device or be authorised by its owner. You confirm this at checkout, and we may ask for proof of purchase where a request looks unusual.

What we do not do

RAF does not offer services intended to bypass Activation Lock, manufacturer or carrier account authentication, stolen-device protections, or any other unauthorised access control. We do not knowingly process devices reported lost or stolen, and we cooperate with lawful requests relating to them.

Eligibility

Some devices cannot be unlocked because of an outstanding contract, unpaid balance, financing agreement or a blacklist record. Where this prevents delivery, our refund policy applies.

After your unlock

Follow the instructions shown on your order page. Some devices require a SIM from another operator, a Wi-Fi connection or a restore to finish activation.
